Mr Evangelos Minos, consultant ophthalmologist, oversees the ophthalmology care of our participants. He helps ensure patients with AAU are identified and approached for recruitment.
Dr Johannes Jaenicke
Dr Johannes Jaenicke
Dr Johannes Jaenicke graduated from the University of Freiburg with a Bsc in Molecular Medicine. After completing his graduate medicine studies at Imperial College London, he joined the team at North West Anglia in 2021. He currently works as a rheumatology research fellow for the trust. Having worked with the NIHR's Research Design Service to put together a Research for Patient Benefit grant to fund CANVASS, he now leads patient and public involvement for the study and is our in-house database and IT manager.

Dr Debbie Carmichael
Dr Debbie Carmichael, our Trust’s research governance manager, will help safeguard participants in our research and promote good research practices. Through her we can easily collaborate with our Trust’s research and development department.
Professor Jufen Zhang
Professor Jufen Zhang
Professor Jufen Zhang received her PhD from the University of Exeter. Before joining Anglia Ruskin University she worked as a Statistical Analyst at Hull York Medical School, University of Hull. She has provided statistical support to clinicians, researchers, and researcher students and has worked on a variety of clinical trials and observational studies.
